Hey, I’m Veronica but most people call me Vee I’m the CEO and founder of Healing H.A.R.T.s Wellness, and everything I do is rooted in my core values: unity, justice, and integrity. (Yeah, you can call me Bouji) but for me, that means being Built On Unity, Justice, and Integrity.)

I was born and raised in an urban community, so I know first hand what it means to face real challenges and what it takes to break cycles, not just survive them. before I was a licensed professional counselor, LPC I spent seven years grinding in investment banking. So when it comes to stress, ambition, and the search for purpose, I’ve seen it from both sides. But my real passion? Helping people, especially kids and families heal at the root.

My experience runs deep: I’ve worked in psychiatric emergency rooms, residential settings, schools, community-based programs, substance use rehab centers, and right in the homes of families who need it most. That means I get it whether it’s the chaos of crisis, the pain of generational trauma, or the steady grind of growth.

I believe in real, raw healing not just slapping a band-aid on deep wounds. Whether I’m coaching parents, working with kids, or building new tools for fellow therapists, my mission is the same: help break generational cycles, build resilience, and create connections that actually last. Healing is possible you just need someone who’s been there to walk with you, support you, and give you the tools for lasting change

My Approach

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all healing. I use a mix of evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based approaches always tailored to you and your story. My style is real, practical, and rooted in empathy, with a healthy dose of humor to keep things honest and human.

I want you to feel safe, comfortable, and truly seen. We’ll laugh, get real, and tackle the tough stuff together at your pace, and in a way that actually fits your life. I meet you where you are, and help you get to where you want to be, step by step. “Healing isn’t about just surviving—it’s about thriving, feeling safe, and rewriting your story together.”
